sabhopdeshak 7:1-29
7 ek achha naam badhiya tel se bhi achha hai+ aur maut ka din janm ke din se behtar hai.
2 daavatvale ghar mein jaane se achha hai maatamvale ghar mein jaana.+ kyonki maut har insan ka ant hai aur zinda logon ko yah baat yaad rakhni chahiye.
3 hansne se achha hai dukh manana+ kyonki chehre ki udasi man ko sudhaarti hai.+
4 buddhiman ka man maatamvale ghar mein laga rehta hai, magar moorkh ka man mauj-masteevale ghar mein laga rehta hai.+
5 moorkh ke geet sunnae se achha hai buddhiman ki fatkaar sunnaa.+
6 jaise haandi ke neeche jalte kaanton ka chatakna, vaise hi moorkh ka hansna hota hai.+ yah bhi vyarth hai.
7 zulm, buddhiman insan ko baavla kar deta hai aur rishvat, man ko bhrasht kar deti hai.+
8 kisi baat ka ant uski shurooat se achha hota hai. sabraa se kaam lena ghamand karne se achha hai.+
9 kisi baat ka jaldi bura mat maan+ kyonki moorkh hi jaldi bura maanta hai.*+
10 yah mat kehna, “in dinon se achhe to beete huye din the.” kyonki aisa kehkar tu buddhimani se kaam nahin le raha.+
11 buddhi ke saath-saath virasat milna achhi baat hai. buddhi un sabhi ko faayda pahunchati hai jo din ki raushni dekhte hain.*
12 kyonki jis tarah paisa hifazat karta hai,+ usi tarah buddhi bhi kai cheezon se hifazat karti hai.+ magar gyaan aur buddhi is maayne mein badhkar hain ki woh apne maalik ki jaan bachate hain.+
13 sachche parmeshvar ke kaam par dhyan de. kyonki jin cheezon ko parmeshvar ne tedha kiya hai unhein kaun seedha kar sakta hai?+
14 jab din achha beete to tu bhi achhai kar.+ lekin museebat* ke din yah samajh le ki parmeshvar ne achhe aur bure donon dinon ko rehne diya hai+ taaki insan kabhi na jaan sake ki aanevale dinon mein kya honevala hai.+
15 mainne apni chhoti-si* zindagi+ mein sabkuch dekha hai. nek insan neki karke bhi mit jaata hai,+ jabki dusht bura karke bhi lambee umra jeeta hai.+
16 khud ko doosron se nek mat samajh,+ na hi apne ko bada buddhiman dikha.+ tu kyon khud par vinash laana chahta hai?+
17 na bahot zyada burai kar, na hi moorkh ban.+ aakhir tu vakt se pehale kyon marna chahta hai?+
18 tere liye achha hai ki tu pehali chetavni* ko pakde rahe aur doosri* ko bhi haath se jaane na de+ kyonki parmeshvar ka dar maannevala donon ko maanega.
19 buddhi ek samajhdar insan ko taakatvar banati hai, shehar ke das balvan aadmiyon se bhi taakatvar.+
20 dharti par aisa koi nek insan nahin, jo hamesha achhe kaam karta hai aur kabhi paap nahin karta.+
21 logon ki har baat ko dil se na laga,+ varna tu apne naukar ko teri burai karte* sunega
22 kyonki tera dil achhi tarah jaanta hai ki toone bhi na jaane kitni baar doosron ko bura-bhala kaha hai.+
23 mainne in saari baaton ko buddhi se parkha. mainne kaha, “main buddhiman banoonga,” lekin yah meri pahunch se baahar hai.
24 jo kuch hua hai use samajhna mere bas mein nahin. ye baatein bahot gehri hain, kaun inhein samajh sakta hai?+
25 mainne buddhi ki khoj karne aur use jaanne-parakhne mein apna man lagaya. main jaanna chahta tha ki jo kuch hota hai woh kyon hota hai. main samajhna chahta tha ki aakhir moorkhta buri kyon hai aur paagalpan moorkhta kyon hai.+
26 tab mainne jaana ki ek aisi aurat hai jo maut se bhi zyada dukh deti hai. woh shikari ke jaal ke samaan hai, uska dil machhli pakadnevale bade jaal jaisa hai aur uske haath bediyon ki tarah hain. aisi aurat se bachnevala, sachche parmeshvar ko khush karta hai.+ lekin jo uske jaal mein fans jaata hai, woh paap kar baithta hai.+
27 updeshak+ kehta hai, “dekh, mainne yah paaya. mainne ek-ke-baad-ek kai cheezon ki chhaanbeen kee ki kisi nateeje par pahunchoon,
28 magar bahot khoj karne ke baad bhi main kisi nateeje par nahin pahunch paaya. mujhe 1,000 logon mein sirf ek seedha-sachcha aadmi mila, lekin unmein ek bhi seedhi-sachchi aurat nahin mili.
29 mainne sirf yahi paaya: sachche parmeshvar ne insan ko seedha banaya tha,+ lekin woh apni soch ke mutabik chalne laga.”+
